Majority of Florida Cell Sites Working After Nicole

The amount of cell sites out of service in Florida following Hurricane Nicole remained static at 0.9 percent on Friday. That’s according to the FCC’s Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS). Out of a total of 11,450 sites, 103 were out of service. That compares to 100 the day before. Fifty-seven had no power, 33 had data transport issues and 10 were damaged.
