Anritsu Company Names Mountain Top Cell Site Winner of Toughest Site Competition in 2013

This year Anritsu Company named a Nevada cell site, which was on top of a mountain, as the winner of their 2013 Toughest Site Competition. Wayne Bradley of Intellecom Communications in Las Vegas is responsible for the aforementioned cell site and will be awarded a 2013 Harley Davidson for earning the distinction of having the toughest cell site in the U.S.

"We received a number of entries that epitomize the technical and environmental challenges field technicians overcome on a daily basis to ensure wireless networks operate according to specification. While all were worthy, after careful deliberation, we determined that Wayne had the Toughest Site in the United States," said Donn Mulde, VP/General Manager of Anriitsu’s Microwave Measurements Division

Bradley had to scale an 8,500-foot mountain during a frigid evening to repair a downed LTE site. Anritsu also presented 11 finalists with GoPro® cameras. Among the finalists were J. Lapham, Valley Springs, CA; B.Parrish, Nashville, TN; B. Mobley, Payette, ID; K. Rivers, Kansas City, MO; M. Krick,Kingman, AZ; and A. Keener, Dallas, GA.
