SmallCells
Tower Company announced this week that they are entering into agreements with
several nationwide hotel chains to expand their networks. Recently, cellular
carriers have reiterated that they need to expand their network capcity for
their nationwide LTE networks. Sprint said that they will need to deploy more
sites beyond the 38,000 Network Vision sites that they have already mapped out.
According to Michael Rapaport, CEO of
SmallCells Tower Company, the company’s entrance into affiliate marketing
relationships with the major hotel chains will represent a "major step
forward in allowing us to provide the real estate locations necessary for
carriers' market expansion efforts. We are confident that SmallCells will be
poised to take advantage of these expansion opportunities – entering into
affiliate relationships is a major step forward for both our company and for
the tower real estate market, in general."
