Maine Fire Station Is Potential Site Of Cell Tower

American Tower has made an offer to the Edgecom Fire Station for $1,100 or $1,200 a month to lease the space for their 100-foot cell tower. If the town denies the application for the tower in the fire station, then it will likely go elsewhere.

Susan Johns of the Wiscasset Newspaper reported that, “For the tower to go up on the fire station property, the town, as the property owner, would need to seek planning board approval. Selectmen plan to decide August 26 if they will apply.”
